Shares of General Electric Co. staged a recovery Tuesday after plunging to their lowest price in more than 11 years. The industrial and commercial conglomerate's stock price advanced 59 cents, or 2.8 percent, to $21.97 in midday trading. Monday's session was traumatic for the broader market, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average - of which GE is a component - dived as much as 800 points, dipping below 10,000 for the first time in four years...
