Opinion: FOX News vs. GE, re: Iran

I try to keep this blog informative and free from opinion - but I thought I would add my two cents here and hopefully some of you can comment on this as well. The following article on the FOX News website (and from Bill O'Reilly none the less) alludes to the fact that GE is doing business with Iran and willfully disobeying U.S. sanctions by utilizing subsidiaries in the region.

FOX News has a recent vested interest in dragging GE's name through the dirt. FOX News Business, which is now the main competitor of GE's own CNBC, has seemingly dismal viewership (NYT: Few Viewers for Infancy of Fox Business).

One of the commentators on the self proclaimed "Fair and Balanced" The O'Reilly Factor was from the Center for Security Policy. Upon looking at their website I see they refer to President Bush's trip to the Middle East for Peace talks as: "George in jihadland." And under a picture of the President the word peace appears in quotation marks. The Center for Security Policy hardly seems to be what its name suggests.

Apparently Mr. O'Reilly has invited Mr. Immelt on the program to discuss the matter.

You take shots at Fox but can't and thus don't try to dispute the fact that what they say about GE is TRUE and DISPICABLE. Nice try to divert attention. GE is a disgrace.
